In search of D.C. sushi

I am looking for good sushi in the Washington, D.C. area. The best I have ever had was down in Flordia, and I haven't found anything comparable up here. Any suggestions would be welcome.

    I've only visited DC a few times for work, but enjoyed an Asia fusion place called Raku on Q near DuPont Circle. Reviews vary wildly, but I've had several good experiences there. It's usually quite busy and I believe they won't seat you until your full party has arrived, but I liked it. But be forewarned - sushi is definitely not the only thing on the menu, but the other options I had were also tasty and well crafted.
