this place is great! Very clean place, Very fresh sushi. It's actually run by a Korean family who are all very sweet. But they now have a Japanese chef as well, and now they are open Sundays too!
Try it, it's fabulous!

Fri, August 22, 2008 - 4:41 AMNice!
Next time I am back home in the Bay Area, I will have to try the place out!
When I lived in Mt View (and after I got out of the Air Force...I was last stationed at Onizuka AFB in Sunnyval...this was back in the 90-ies),
I use to go to Miyagi's in Cupertino it was a cool concept for it's time...they had the boats floating aroun the sushi bar and you got to pick and choose what you wanted Sushi and Sashimi-wise and their Ama Ebi was awesome too! :) -

Sat, August 30, 2008 - 11:10 AMHey, I used to live in Cupertinio till 1999, could you please remind me of where Miyagi's was? I think I used to see it all the time but can't recall the location. There was alot of good sushi/japanese food to be had in the south bay-I sure do miss it! -

Sat, September 13, 2008 - 6:38 AMThanks was too lazy to "search"....hmmm, must have been quite close, if it was going then, has my old zip code and practically my old phone number except the second to last & third to last digits- and here I thought I had forgotten it, but this brought it right back!

Re: Mtn. View...Hon Sushi
Wed, October 1, 2008 - 1:08 PMIt's still there. It was the first place I ever ate sushi.
It used to be one of my favorite places for atmosphere and saki-bombs.
In recent years it's gone downhill. Too many sushi chef changes...
The last time I went there we left disappointed but then again the sushi in Santa Cruz is world's better,
and I don't need to drive over the hill to get good fish.
